Many of the surviving Falmer fled to the Dwemer, and asked them for protection. Where will the Elder Scrolls 6 take place?

But playing some Oblivion first helps with appreciating skyrim more. It’s much more user friendly but that aside: There’s better combat, questing, acting and characters. Skyrim is for if you want fun combat and exploration while Oblivion is more story based. I’ve modded SE as well, and having a 600+ mod setup on both games is almost exactly the same when it comes to stability, both can crash if you don’t know what you are doing. Choose LE if you want better enb and graphics. If u want for the most part frequently updated mods, use SE. But underneath at all, it’s still a blast to play. It’s not the biggest RPG anymore, nor is does it have a particularly high quality of graphics (not counting mods, of course). It’s still fun in 2021, and isn’t that really the bottom line? Skyrim has aged there’s no denying it. After playing vanilla Skyrim for so long it’s like playing a brand new game! Is it worth playing Skyrim in 2021?

You can play with mods on the PS4 as well (though not as many as pc). The complete edition is definitely worth it. That’s good advice, you definitely need to try it without first. Play through the intro without any mods and then use mods to change things you don’t like. No harm in installing some visual upgrade mods. With mods, it can give you some of the most mind blowing VR experiences you’ve experienced yet. But if you want unrestricted mod support, the PC version is the only choice, haha. Of course, I’m not into mods too much either. It runs just fine on PS4, and the game is still a ton of fun on it. Skyrim is always better on PC, but I have it on PS4 since its really my only option at the moment. The new remaster of Skyrim does have benefits for all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC, where it’s available as a free upgrade for those who owned the original.
